If you only need to access an unavailable video occasionally, then using a proxy will probably work for you. But if you want to bypass YouTube country blocks regularly, investing in a good VPN is worth it. Many schools and businesses use a firewall to block access to YouTube, making it difficult (but not impossible) to access. If your school or office firewall blocks access to YouTube you may be able to use a proxy service to get get around the firewalls and access any website you want. Mmmm Perhaps there is a reason for the block. Study hard, keep your head down and don't get distracted. In the end it will repay you thousands of time over. Youtube will not give you any thing. If you don't have a good enough reason to get permission then your probably not doing something you should be. Sigh. Feb 20, 2009 · LGfL/Synetrix appear to have just added YouTube to their blocked sites. Since a lot of our staff use it as a teaching aid I added it to my proxy bypass rule in ISA server (which uses a web chaining rule to bypass Synetrix's filtering) and blocked rule for pupils.
