Apr 03, 2016 · So I wanted to log onto my PS3 today and when I turned it on, My PS3 wouldnt sign in. it would say the connection to Sony Computer Entertainment services have timed out. My PS4 will sign in fine and my computer and such connects to the internet just fine so i'm pretty sure its just my PS3. My PS3 used to connect just fine but now it doesnt. i reseted my ps3 but i couldn't do anything with it because i had no hdmi output so i couldn't do anything with my ps3. this is what i did and i dont know if it will work for you but it did for me. i turned off my tv, took the hdmi out, unplugged my tv for 10 seconds, plugged it back in, turned it back on and hooked up the hdmi. I have a Wii and a PS3, neither of which will connect to live, at least. I guess that's the best way to describe it. On the PS3 the internet works PERFECTLY, but it WILL NOT let me sign in to let me play online. I just got my PS3, and the Wii I have had for a year or two, so it's not a new thing. Nov 15, 2011 · I was having problems charging my brand new PS3 controller so after trying almost every trick in the book i found out that it could be the USB cable it wasn't listed anywhere, and i didn't find anything suggesting it online. So i thought perhaps a lot of people could have this problem and with no solution, they just might think something is broken

Nah, it's just the connection to the PS3. My comp., as well as my roommate's comp. are working fine. In fact, his 360 is connecting to live, but neither of us can figure out how to get my PS3 to connect atm. I'll keep at it, I guess. Maybe it's just being stubborn or something. Thanks, Viper.
